Green Canyon Hot Springs, Idaho, Established 1903
Green Canyon Hot Springs...

Let me ask you this:  would you rather swim in warm water, or cold water?
Would you like your swimming water to be somewhat fresh, or chemically loaded?
Hmmmm....  That's what I thought....
I know....  These are not tough questions, and that is why Green Canyon Hot Springs in South East Idaho is such a popular place to visit...!!!
and SWIM!!!!!

The kids and I just enjoyed a fabulous week of camping and swimming at Green Canyon, just outside Newdale, Idaho.
Included are pictures of some of my favorite vintage-vibe items at this not-so-new but WELL LOVED [still!!!} establishment.
Enjoy!

Besides the awesome warm swimming, Green Canyon is also well-known for their terrific tomatoes:  hydroponically grown...
What is hydroponic?
Simply put:  Hydroponically grown plants are grown without soil.  In this case only the warm spring water is used to grow these delicious vegetables... {fruit...??}

Ahhhh memories!! I am from Southeast Idaho and spent many happy hours at Green Canyon!! What a blast from the past to see all the signs! I totally remember the green mesh bags and walking outside to get to the hot pool. We would always dare each other to go all the way under in the tiny freezing cold pool. Thanks so much for linking up with me at Link It Up Thursday.:)
